Who we are
Alfred Angelo was founded in the mid-1930s by the husband and wife team of Alfred Angelo and Edythe Piccione. With Edythe’s unique and popular designs, and Alfred’s knack for high quality manufacturing, the company quickly became the leading manufacturer in the US bridal industry. Shortly after, the company expanded its distribution to hundreds of stores throughout the UK and mainland Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.  
 
Today the company continues to be family owned and operated by the children of the original founders. Its famous designs are sold at the company-owned Signature Stores located across the US, as well as through thousands of Partner Stores throughout the world.  
 

Our Signature stores

Each Signature store carries hundreds of dresses in sizes 0 to 30 so brides and bridal parties can try on styles in their size.  Stores prefer to special order gowns for every customer so each receives the dress made just for her.  (There’s no reason to buy a dress off the rack that was tried on by so many others!) Brides can select from the signature Alfred Angelo collection, Alfred Angelo Sapphire, Piccione bridal and the Niki white collections, based on her taste and budget.  Part of the fun of shopping at a signature store is the opportunity to meet with a designer (they love to meet and work with brides) and the opportunity to try on new styles before they are introduced to the general market. For her  bridesmaids, mothers and flower girls a bride can choose from the entire collection of Alfred Angelo styles in her choice of up to 55 colors.  

 
Certainly Alfred Angelo gowns have made the company famous, but it’s the people at the Signature stores that make them so popular.  Each Signature store employee shares the single goal of superior customer service and is inspired to help a bride select the perfect style for her wedding day. Each day Signature Store associates earn the company’s reputation as The Friendliest Bridal Shop in Town.
